Sales intelligence for managed print providers. We do the research for you.

Managed print sales teams are usually chasing two things at once: businesses whose existing contract is due for renewal, and businesses that are growing or moving into new premises and will need a fleet review regardless of what they currently have in place. Both are time-sensitive, and both are hard to see from the outside using generic intent data.

Growth Assist continuously identifies companies showing a reason to speak — a renewal window, an office move, a new site, or headcount growth that changes print and document requirements — explains why now matters for that account, and delivers prioritised opportunities directly to your sales team through the Sales Intelligence Workspace.

The sales challenge

Why pipeline is hard to build here.

Print contracts are long, quiet, and easy to lose track of from the buyer's side as much as the seller's. Providers often rely on their own CRM history and outbound prospecting lists that treat every business in a sector the same way, regardless of whether that business has any actual reason to review its current arrangement.

Meanwhile the strongest opportunities — a company opening a second office, absorbing an acquisition, or growing headcount fast enough that its existing fleet is under strain — rarely announce themselves as "in market". They show up in planning notices, recruitment activity, company filings and historic CRM notes, not in a buying-intent score.

Without a way to connect these signals to genuine fit, sales teams either over-invest in accounts that were never close to reviewing print, or under-invest in accounts that were ready to talk months before anyone called them.

Ideal customer

What a good customer looks like.

  • Multi-site organisations with print and document volumes tied to headcount growth
  • Businesses approaching the end of a known print or MFD contract term
  • Companies expanding into new offices or additional sites
  • Organisations that have grown headcount materially in the past 6–12 months
  • Accounts with a previous proposal or CRM conversation that stalled rather than closed
  • Businesses with an ageing device fleet where lifecycle information is available
  • Existing customers with a credible cross-sell opportunity into a different site or department

The definition above is a starting point. Every engagement begins by agreeing what a good customer looks like for your business rather than assuming a generic profile.

Why now

The triggers that create a reason to speak.

Fitting the profile is not a reason to call. These are the changes that suggest the timing may be right — and which ones apply is decided with you, not applied generically.

  • Contract renewal window approaching, based on known or inferred contract length
  • Historic proposal on file that was not progressed to close
  • Office move or new site announced or recorded
  • Headcount growth suggesting print volume has outgrown the current arrangement
  • Previous CRM conversation that went cold and may be worth reopening
  • Fleet lifecycle information indicating ageing devices, where available
  • Business expansion such as new departments, acquisitions or additional floors
  • Cross-sell opportunity into an existing account's other sites

Evidence & data

Where the evidence comes from.

Not every source is used for every client. We use what is available, relevant and traceable — and record anything unverified as inference rather than fact.

External signals

  • Company filings and registered changes
  • Office moves and new site announcements
  • Recruitment activity indicating headcount growth
  • Business expansion and acquisition news

Property and site information

  • New site records where a business has taken additional premises
  • Site headcount changes over time
  • Publicly available lease or occupation notices where relevant

Internal CRM history

  • Historic proposals that did not convert
  • Past conversations logged but not followed up
  • Existing customer records suitable for cross-sell review
  • Contract or renewal dates already held on file

How we find opportunities

The process behind each opportunity.

01

Define the fit

We agree with you what a good managed print customer looks like — size, sector, site count and the arrangements you win most often — rather than applying a generic industry template.

02

Set the triggers

Buying triggers such as renewal timing, moves and growth are defined with you specifically, not assumed to apply the same way across every client.

03

Gather and verify evidence

We collect evidence from external sources, property and site records, and your own CRM history, distinguishing what is verified against a source from what is a reasoned inference.

04

Rank by fit, evidence and timing

Accounts are only surfaced when fit, evidence and timing combine into a genuine priority — not simply because they match a sector list.

05

Deliver through the workspace

Prioritised opportunities, with the evidence and reasoning behind each one, are delivered to your sales team through the Sales Intelligence Workspace.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do you provide print contract data directly?

No. We do not claim to know the contents of a competitor's contract. We identify indicators — such as timing patterns, historic proposals and business change — that suggest a renewal or review window may be approaching, and we are explicit about what is verified against a source and what is inference.

Can this replace our existing prospecting tools?

This is not another sales tool to operate alongside your existing stack. It is a service: Growth Assist does the research and delivers prioritised opportunities, rather than handing you another database to search.

How do you handle our own CRM history?

With your agreement, we review historic CRM records for stalled proposals and past conversations that may be worth reopening, and combine that with external evidence to prioritise the account.

What if a signal turns out to be wrong?

Every account comes with a clear indication of confidence. Verified evidence is supported by an identifiable source; anything else is flagged as a hypothesis, not presented as fact.

Do triggers differ between clients in the same market?

Yes. Buying triggers are defined with each client rather than applying the same generic intent signals to every managed print provider, because fleet size, contract length and target sectors differ between businesses.
